SANUSI LAMIDO: THE KHALIFA MEETS NIGERIEN COUPIST.

An elephant doesn't beg for recognition, says an African proverb.No wonder,SANUSI LAMIDO SANUSI, the deposed emir of Kano is proving his critics and traducers he is a rallying point in Africa and the world.
Many Africans have stormed Niger in the wake of the coup that seems to have ousted President Bazoum to wade into negotiations and conciliation but the juntas have turned down any overture.
The Sultan of Sokoto, the spiritual leader of Muslims in Nigeria and General Abdul Salami Abubakar were recently sent by president Tinubu to help talk down the coupists but they were shocked as they were neither allowed entrance into the country no listened to.
But SANUSI broke the jinx today as he was spotted with the leader of the juntas as he delved into an intervention talk.
The outcome is still being awaited but the boldness and reception accorded him is something to praise.
